Sara Dalrymple is an author, speaker and mentor – who helps businesses show up, stand out, and promote themselves with confidence. Her book ‘More Sales Please’ is all about promoting your small business online, how to make consistent sales, and how to grow without the grind. I’m currently reading it and it’s brilliant. A must-have for my fellow small business owners.
Why Sara Needed Updated Branding Photos
Sara came to me wanting new branding photos because her previous ones were quite outdated (we’re talking COVID times!). We booked a date in within a few weeks and got to work planning the shoot. I worked with her web designer to understand the types of shots Sara needed for her new website (as she’s currently undergoing a re-brand) and we landed on doing a shoot at Sara’s home for authenticity and because it’s a beautiful space with lots of colour and character. Given her role as an author, Sara needed personal branding photography that showcased her personality. Sara is also booking more and more speaking opportunities and wanted images to showcase this with enough variety that the photos could also be used on podcast graphics, on the new website and in her social media content.
Let’s take a look at some of my favourite images below.
In Sara’s words
Here’s what Sara had to say about working with me:
“I have found my dream photographer – and Beth is it! From start to finish she made me feel so comfortable, the shoot felt like having a natter with a mate and the photos are phenomenal. If you’re looking for a true professional, who knows how to capture you at your very best without making it a chore, Beth is your woman. Run, don’t walk to book yourself in, she’s the best there is. Can’t wait for the next one! X”
