Different Types of Product Photography I Offer
In this post I’m going to detail the different types of images of product photography I can create for your product business.
During the pandemic, I was feeling very stuck as I wasn’t able to go out and do my job of photographing you lovely business owners. Despite this, during lockdown I chatted to some pals and decided that I was going to branch out and offer remote product photography from home. It’s proved a great success and I’d love to help out more of you with your product photography too.
I wanted to write this resource for you so you know what I can create for your brand. Let’s jump in!
Lifestyle Product Photography
Lifestyle product photography shows off your product in use. It usually includes real environments and models too. Here are some examples of lifestyle product photography that I’ve taken.

Studio Product Photography
Studio photography shows off your product in an orchestrated environment, or set if you like. It usually includes cool backdrops, props and interesting lighting techniques to help your images stand out from your competitors. Here are some examples.

E-commerce Product Photography
E-commerce shots are typically shot on a white background so that it’s clear to your customer what you’re selling. They need to be clean shots with no distractions. You’ll usually upload them to your Shop page or Etsy store. They are really useful if you need cut-out imagery for PR opportunities too. Here are some examples.

Flat Lay Photography
Flat lay photography is really popular because it’s very aesthetically pleasing to look at. It essentially means laying out your products on a flat surface and taking the shot from overhead. Here are some examples.

There are so many different ways to create scroll-stopping product photography and I’d love to have a chat with you about how I can help. If you want to get in touch, please head on over to my contact page and fill out my form. I look forward to hearing from you!
